A special search operation taken up simultaneously in the houses of history-sheeters in Hubballi and Dharwad has yielded the police several lethal weapons, ganja, and air guns. Consequently, the police initiated criminal proceedings against three history-sheeters.

Addressing presspersons in Hubballi on Tuesday after the search operation was completed, Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner M.N. Nagaraj said that police teams conducted the search at the residences of 43 rowdies in Hubballi and 12 in Dharwad.
